Beaumont will become part of Grafton’s Buildbase Division, claimed to be the UK’s fastest growing builders merchants chain. Its new owner said the timber merchant’s three branches in Ascot, High Wycombe and Hoddesdon would widen its "area of operation, enabling it to better service customers with timber products across the south-east".
Grafton Merchanting chief executive Mark Kelly said it would expand the outlets’ stock range and introduce its Hirebase and Electricbase operations, although retaining their timber specialism.
"We’re delighted to be able to extend our specialist timber products and services to building professionals in the south-east and look forward to existing Beaumont employees becoming part of our team, working with them and being part of the community," said Mr Kelly.
