Former Indonesian timber tycoon Muhammad “Bob” Hasan has been released from prison early after having his jail sentence cut short for good behaviour.
Hasan, a former associate of ex-president Suharto, was given a six-year sentence in 2000 for misusing US$75m of forestry funds.
