Softwood distributor Hoppings has launched a marketing package to help key merchants promote its Q-Line range of products.

Promotional and information materials have been created including items such as actual size Q-Line profile guides and personally liveried posters which all help to promote sales of softwood products.

Marketing director Adam Pulfer said: “Brand recognition increases sales. More significantly, the increase is gained at the expense of competitors.”

Mike Draper, proprietor of Caterham-based independent timber merchant Dunwoodys, said his customers preferred to buy a branded product and asked for Q-Line mouldings by name. He added: “I am sure that seeing the point of sale items around the depot increases those consumer requests.”
