A children’s adventure playground in Islington has been saved with help from Hoppings Softwood Products plc.
The company supplied a substantial quantity of decking, free of charge, for use in building an adventure playground for children with disabilities.
The Kids’ Hayward Adventure Playground was due to close as its facilities were near the end of their safe working life.
Ian Wright, star of the ITV programme With a little help from my friends, joined a number of sponsors, including Hoppings, to fully refurbish the playground – the only facility of its kind in Islington.
