International Timber has joined the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) as a full member.
The company is part of the Saint-Gobain Group and, along with supplying the wider timber sector, is the main supplier to the group’s UK divisions, including Pasquill and Jewson.
“Their size and experience in UK and international markets will be of enormous value in our various work streams and we look forward to their input,” said TTF chief executive John White.
“We are very pleased to be joining and are looking forward to working with the TTF, especially in continuing their work in improving standards throughout the trade on responsible sourcing and product quality,” said International Timber’s managing director, Tony Miles.
“The TTF has worked hard to design and implement an industry-wide code of conduct, including the Responsible Purchasing Policy and we hope we can add to this process,” he added.
