Entries are open for this year’s Irish Joinery Awards, organised by the Irish Timber Trade Association.
The sponsor of the awards, now in their third year, is the American Hardwood Export Council, supported by the Export Development Division (Forestry Commission of Ghana) and the Malaysian Timber Council.
There are five award categories this year – a public building accessible to the public; a commercial project; a private/ residential project; a conservation/ restoration project; and furniture commissioned, designed and manufactured in the Republic of Ireland. The last two are new categories.
The closing date for submissions is July 27 and the winners will be announced in November.
