The Birkenhead-based company invested in a Burkle Flowline Press to produce gloss door fronts.
ISD’s Flowline is running daily to keep up with demand for high gloss components in an ever-increasing product range.
The machine features an automatic fast-setting pin system, so no jigs are required for made-to-measure products.
A production monitoring system gives the machine operator a real-time report of which parts have passed through the machine.
Instant statistics include the timing from press to press, how many parts were pressed, foil usage, waste output and the volume of MDF produced.
Operators can check the details of any shift of any day during the past 10 years of operation.
"This is a very handy tool to have," said ISD operations director Jeff Green.
"It removes the need of operators producing endless paperwork and the company has a true and accurate information source."
