From the start of this year, the Swadlincote-based company has expanded its number of FSC-certified door ranges from two to 11 and increased the number of certified door designs to 79, the latter representing an 80% rise.
JB Kind offers a total of 27 door ranges and 177 door designs.
Previously, the Clear Pine and Churchillian ranges had FSC certification. Newly-certified ranges are Royale Modern, Eco Flush, Gallery, Inspiration, Limelight, Calypso, Walnut Flush, Moulded Panel and Softwood Boarded.
"The feedback we have had is that, even in this economic climate, Britons are keen to differentiate products on sustainable attributes, and are often inclined to pay more for these products," said managing director James Cadman.
He said the green agenda had become more prominent in the last decade, both in government and as a consumer focus, with people making buying decisions on sustainable and ethical grounds across a wide range of sectors and products.
