Jewson has underlined its health and safety credentials by winning four Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Silver Awards.
The awards, which were presented during a ceremony at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel on May 13, were awarded for Jewson’s operations in Scotland, Wales, east, west and central England, illustrating the merchant’s nationwide focus on the health and safety of its employees and customers.
“Jewson has demonstrated best practice whilst setting industry standards,” said Kevin Crawley, health and safety director at parent company, Saint-Gobain Building Distribution.
