Merchanting software provider Kerridge Commercial Systems has acquired TIS Software.
TIS, trading as Strategix OneOffice and Global Business Systems, provides enterprise resource planning solutions specifically designed for the wholesale and retail distribution, logistics and service sectors, and SmartPoint, provides information integration solutions for both the commercial and public sectors.
“Kerridge Commercial Systems and TIS Software already share some customers and in some areas operate in similar markets,” said Kerridge CEO Ian Bendelow.
“We complement each other very well. I am confident that the blended skills, resources and capacity that the organisations offer together will further strengthen our solutions and services.
“In other markets we add to each other’s capabilities and solutions. In those areas, we look forward to extending our reach and growing business together.”
Kerridge said it expected to be announcing positive benefits to customers in the coming weeks.
Kerridge specialises in business management solutions to the distribution industry. Its core solution, called K8, handles advanced sales order processing, purchasing, rebates, e-commerce, finance, transport management and customer relationship and warehouse management systems.
