As well as Valchromat itself, the team also includes laser cutting and engraving specialist Cutting Technologies, which will highlight the material’s creative potential to designers using its latest laser technology.
"The intricacy and level of detail our lasers can cut and engrave, even on the thickest 30mm panels in the Valchromat range, simply cannot be achieved through any other process," said Cutting Technologies director Jane Robinson. "And it is a superb material for both laser cutting and engraving. We’re producing some stunning effects which should enable designers to use Valchromat in a range of new ways and get them to think differently about the material."
"So far we’ve been trialling a range of possibilities, including laser cut accoustic and decorative panels and laser-engraved photos," said Valchromat’s Chris Dewhirst.
