Fortunes have turned for Lingui Developments Bhd which achieved a M$53.4m net profit in the six months to December 2004 compared to a net loss of M$1.65m in the same period the previous year.
Revenue also increased – to M$671.224m from M$539.12m – a 24.5% rise.
The group has said it intends to improve its supply chain management and work towards producing more niche products for sale to end users.
Lingui also intends to use its Malaysian Timber Certification Council accreditation to expand its reach by entering new markets.
