Timber industry representatives will join government officials and Caroline Lucas MP in a London debate over sustainable forest management in the Congo Basin.

The event, organised by WWF, will take place at 10am-2pm at Lambeth Palace on February 21.

Speakers will share their experiences of illegal and unsustainable logging and the benefits of responsible forest management.

Moderating the event will be Glyn Davies, WWF UK’s conservation director.

WWF is working with central and local government and consumers in its What Wood You Choose campaign to promote use of FSC-certified timber products.
