Timber door manufacturer Longden has helped complete the redevelopment of Durham Town Hall with a range of doors designed to maintain the heritage of the 158-year-old building.
Longden supplied 22 four-panel Chippendale Sussex doors in American white oak and 18 frames for the first phase of the project.
An exclusively designed single-leaf hybrid Sheraton FD60-specified door in English oak replaced an arched headed pair of doors in the second phase.
A pair of arched four-panel Chippendale Sussex FD60 doors in American oak are being constructed for the third phase.
Longden has also recently supplied doors to the Belgian Embassy, Sheffield City Hall and the Patent Office in London.
