A Louisiana-Pacific (LP) sawmill in Saratoga, Wyoming, will shut down again this month and may not re-open.

The mill has suffered numerous short-term closures due to a string of setbacks, including an explosion in 2000, boiler problems last year and low timber prices.

LP is looking for potential buyers but has not been helped by a US Forest Service plan to reduce the amount of wood sold in the nearby Medicine Bow National Forest. The company is also selling two mills in Florida and one in Washington.
