The new owner of Magnet, Swedish kitchen giant Nobia, is remaining tight-lipped about its plans for the joinery side of the business.
Its £134m purchase of Magnet from parent company Enodis plc (TTJ April 28) was completed last month but a company spokesperson said it has yet to finalise its plans for the business.
Speculation that it may decide to dispose of the joinery arm has arisen (TTJ May 12) because Nobia’s core trade is in kitchens.
