STIDC, which owns the land on which development will take place, said the repair and maintenance shipyard will be able to cater for vessels of up to 20,000 tonnes.
The project will be built in Tanjung Manis which is in the final phase of a five-year development plan. The area is home to Sarawak’s largest integrated timber complex which caters for various wood processing industries.
