Jeld-Wen’s new timber millworking plant has been officially opened at Melton Mowbray by Alan Duncan MP.
The £2m operation, which has created more than 30 new jobs, is a fully integrated production line, allowing the company to operate shorter production runs and benefit from a quicker changeover time.
It will produce timber window, door and patio door components to be used at Melton and other group factories.
