This year’s National Floor Show will feature a bigger representation of hardwood products than ever before, according to organisers.

The September 7-9 event, held at Harrogate International Centre, will include 47 wooden floor companies, compared to 27 last year. Atkinson & Kirby, of Ormskirk, and Karelia Wood Flooring, based in St Leonards on Sea, are among the first time exhibitors.

Other companies at the show, which is already sold out, include Keighley-based British Hardwoods and Evergreen Flooring Ltd, of Brackley, as well as Egger Floor Products Ltd, Kaindl and Parador. French company Morin Parquet will boost the parquet flooring presence.

More than 200 companies will be showing their products at the floor show, traditionally dominated by carpet manufacturers but lately featuring a growing contingent of wood flooring firms.
