Six technology suppliers to the joinery sector have formed the Dutch Joinery Alliance (DJA) to target the UK market and promote the future of joinery on the international stage.

Under the shared DJA banner, the companies will present their innovations to the international market and help support customers in achieving faster lead times, higher output and consistent, high quality.

The official launch of DJA takes place at the Professional Woodworking Expo in Birmingham (UK), 23 to 25 June 2026.

The DJA brings together specialists from across a large part of the joinery supply chain: Anker Stuy Coatings (paints and coatings), Bos Machines (CNC machining centres), Duivestein Techniek (automation and handling), Ekosiet (sill systems), Mill Panel (wooden door blanks), and Trivec (surface treatment).

“The DJA focuses on two core objectives,” the group said.

“First: leveraging each other’s networks and market positions to introduce international customers to the allied companies. Second: promoting the future of joinery on the international stage.

“The Dutch joinery industry is known for its high quality and advanced levels of automation. Themes such as sustainability, door and window longevity and labour shortages play an increasingly important role across Europe. The DJA members offer practical solutions to these challenges.”

As well as exhibiting at the Professional Woodworking Expo, a trade visit to the suppliers in the Netherlands will follow, giving international contacts an opportunity to see the DJA solutions in practice at joinery manufacturers and DJA member facilities.

JJ Smith Woodworking Machinery is the local UK dealer for the machine solutions of the DJA group, while Anker Stuy Coatings operates a branch in Peterborough.
