The new president of SCA Forest Products has spoken of “great challenges” facing the business.
Ulf Larsson, who is moving from his current role as SCA Timber president, said increasing energy and raw material costs were challenging.
“But we also have better conditions than most of our competitors when it comes to taking on these challenges,” he said.
Kenneth Eriksson, who has headed SCA Forest Products since 2000, will now become chief operating officer, leading the strategic development of SCA’s forest industry and packaging businesses.
“In SCA Forest Products we have been successful in developing productivity and competitiveness,” said Mr Eriksson. “This change of organisation should be seen as confirmation of this progress.”
