Prior to joining MCI Timber Products in 1988, Mr King had worked for Brown & Son, Montague L Meyer, CF Anderson and S Silverman & Son.
"Nigel’s retirement will be a great loss to both the company and timber trade as he has made many friends over the years," said UCM Timber chairman Mark Plews.
