According to the weekly forest products market report, average aggregate earnings rose from US$148,509 to US$150,141, with managers in western America earning US$156,436.
Despite tough market conditions reported to be continuing into 2007, many managers believe they could see a similar rise in 12 months time, with average 2007 earnings predicted to be US$151,900.
The figures were gathered in a poll of 1,500 managers throughout North America, although only 162 complete questionnaires were returned to Random Lengths.
