New Zealand government minister Dr Nick Smith is facing a NZ$15m lawsuit from Osmose in a defamation case.
A six-week hearing in Auckland’s High Court, starting this summer, will examine statements made by Dr Smith six years previously about one of Osmose’s treatments used on construction wood for timber frame housing.
