Timber pallet and packaging manufacturer the Scott Group has made a five-year commitment to support educational charity The Outward Bound Trust.
The Cumbria-based charity helps financially-disadvantaged young people realise their potential through adventurous challenges and outdoor learning.
Scott Group will support the charity through the latter’s Patron’s Company Bursary Fund, which supports 50% of all course participants.
“We hope that over the years we will contribute towards the development of thousands of deserving young people in the UK, and in turn raise morale and performance internally as we encourage staff to get involved in the challenges,” said Karen Hunter, Scott’s sales and marketing director.
