Performance Doorset Solutions (PDS) has supplied over 400 bespoke doors as part of the regeneration of Chimney Pot Park in Langworthy, Salford.
The regeneration by developer Urban Splash has turned traditional terraced houses into “desirable and affordable living accommodation”, with original features combined with modern technology.
This includes the timber composite doorsets from PDS, which meet Secured by Design standards and include automatic engaging locks and customised ironmongery. They were also factory finished and pre-hung to ensure quick installation when they arrive on site.
“This project was a great opportunity to get involved at the early stages and engage with all parties to meet their needs,” said PDS managing director Tim Fairley.
“[We] were able to provide the capability and flexibility required to deliver the project on budget.”
PDS has also organised a subcontractor to fit the doors during a phased installation programme, with 150 doors fitted to date and the rest to be delivered over the coming months.
