After research by Peugeot revealed that British consumers equate solid wood with quality the company contracted hardwood flooring supplier Junckers Ltd to transform its dealerships around the UK.

The Essex-based company now supplies flooring for more than 20 of Peugeot’s “Blue Box” showroom concepts every year – a process it started in 2000. Lacquered beech and oiled merbau are used to create distinctive showroom walkways, directing customers through display areas.

The Blue Box concept involves siting cars alongside a café, racing bikes, branded clothing and accessories.

Junckers’ technical department has been involved in resolving technical issues and developing tailor-made maintenance programmes.
