The Salvador Superpush 200 optimising automatic cross-cut system, supplied by Daltons Wadkin, is being employed at the mill to cut timber for various sectors, including pallet manufacturing.
The company’s cross-cut features a 5200mm infeed capacity, twin side aligners/pushers, a 250mm-wide pusher plate, 7.5kW saw motor, gravity pre-loading and a maximum 150mm cutting depth.
Pontrilas said the Salvador unit had exceeded its targets and increased production capacity and quality.
