Timber frame house manufacturer Potton Ltd has centralised its operations after moving office staff to the company’s Great Gransden factory as part of a £500,000 investment.
Potton decided to move its 50 office staff, covering sales, accounts and purchasing, from the former Wyboston site about eight miles away to improve internal and external communications.
The company, which designed and built the new office building, has also recently added another sawing line to the Great Gransden facility to improve output.
Joe Martoccia, Potton’s sales and marketing director, said: “The move consolidates all company functions on one site to improve both internal and external communication and help provide improved support and service to our growing client base.”
Potton also operates a Self Build Centre at St Neots which includes three show homes from the company’s housing range.
