Södra has signed a new timber transport agreement with transport company VSV Frakt AB.
The deal with make VSV a significant supplier of transport services within Södra’s region east.
The agreement, a strategic partnership, means the scope of transport will be given the opportunity to grow over time.
Operations will start in Södra’s Linköping business in August.
Södra says it will have a SKr650m turnover this year from round timber transport.
Karlstad-based VSV had a turnover last year of SKr795m.
