The Cumbria-based firm has received BM TRADA Certification after proving it was manufacturing and supplying timber to the ISO 9001:2000 standard and meeting NHSS 2A requirements for fencing.

It has also been given FSC accreditation for purchasing, processing, selling and distributing timber goods throughout the UK.

These two achievements have been followed by the award of Gold Certification for Environmental Practice from the Cumbria Business Environment Network.

“We are delighted to have achieved three accreditations in such a short time scale,” said managing director David Bowe.

Mr Bowe added that sub-contractors, as well as the company’s six full-time staff, have been rigorously trained “to ensure up-to-date proceedures are being followed” and to maintain the standards that had earned the Rose Bank the three certificates.
