The division, which includes solid timber, publication papers and pulp, recorded net sales of SKr3.78bn, down 22% on a year ago.

Sales of solid wood products increased as a result of higher volumes, while deliveries grew by 4% to 619,000m3.

The lower divisional operating profits were mainly attributable to lower prices and negative exchange rate effects of SKr100m, related to the stronger Swedish krona, and costs for maintenance stops.
