SCA Timber Supply’s operations director, Neil Emsley, has been awarded Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport.
In other news at SCA, Bob Bastow has been appointed quality assurance manager for SCA Timber Supply, caring for standards, assurance and certification matters for SCA’s three UK sites at Stoke, Hull and Welshpool. He will also work closely on environmental issues, including carbon footprinting, with SCA’s customers and with trade associations across the construction sector. Mr Bastow will report jointly to managing director Rob Simpson on customer facing tasks and to operations director Neil Emsley on operational matters.
David Foster has been appointed warehouse and logistics manager for SCA Timber Supply’s headquarters at Stoke-on-Trent, taking additional responsibility for all outward-bound logistics from Stoke.
