Delegates attending the Association Technique Internationale des Bois Tropicaux forum in Shanghai will have the opportunity of visiting Zhang Jia Gang, China’s largest port for timber imports.
Other visits organised on September 19-21, prior to the forum on September 22-23, include a trip to a plywood factory and an industrial group in Suzhou.
The event, themed “Discovering the current and future Asian market for wood products” is expected to attract 300-500 enterprises and will be followed by the International Tropical Timber Organisation‘s international plywood conference on September 26-28.
