Forest Enterprise Wales Signs Workshop has been awarded Independent Forestry Group chain of custody membership under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
The Independent Forestry Group’s chain of custody scheme helps small manufacturing businesses attain permission to use the FSC-certified label on their wood products.
The FE Wales Signs Workshop manufactures timber routed signs and a range of picnic furniture. Last year 60% of its work was for the Forestry Commission and the remainder for external customers ranging from individuals through to national parks, local authorities and companies.
