Boise Cascade is reinventing itself– and from spring next year will be known simply as ‘Boise’.

A company spokesman said the rebranding is designed to convey greater diversity. The company, whose roots are in timber harvesting, says half its total sales are now in office products and building materials divisions.

  • Boise now has 480,000 acres of independently certified forest in the Washington region.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has certified the company’s conformance with the American Forest & Paper Association‘s Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).

  • The audit examined forest management practices on land owned by the company, on private and public land it harvests from, and the wood procurement system.
