An exhibition pavilion made from UPM’s wood-plastic composite material ProFi is to be auctioned by Sotheby’s in New York for an expected US$800,000-1.2m.
The pavilion, designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban and Finnish design company Artek, has been used at exhibitions in Milan, Helsinki and Miami.
Potential bidders can check out the pavilion on June 8-13, with the auction taking place on June 14.
