A Spanish door manufacturer hopes to grow its UK exports after joining the British Woodworking Federation‘s Certifire Fire Door and Doorset Scheme.
Norma Doors, based at San Leonardo de Yagüe, exports a range of products to the UK, including its FD30 Certifire accredited fire doors and doorsets.
The FD30 doors, available in panel and flush designs, are imported to Britain by sister company JELD-WEN UK for sale to merchants across the country.
Norma Doors’ Felix Calvo said: “These doors, and others in our fire door range, are tested to very high standards in Span. By being part of a recognised scheme in the UK, however, our FD30 product is accepted without having to overcome extensive red tape when they enter the UK.”
