A three-day conference “Ecology and Management of Large Native Pinewoods: Past, Present and Future” will bring foresters, researchers and community representatives together in Scotland in June.

UK and international experts will be among those giving presentations during the event which will cover pine management, ecology and biodiversity, and the environment.

The conference, which runs from June 14-16, will be based at Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness, and will take in Scotland’s newest nature reserve, Glen Affric.
