UK staircase manufacturer Staircraft has officially opened its brand-new factory in Ansty, Coventry.
This significant investment represents a big step forward in the company supporting its customers and growing capacity across stairs, floors, doors, and mouldings.
The company, part of the Travis Perkins Group, now has nine manufacturing facilities across four sites in the Midlands, spanning over 200,000ft.
The new manufacturing facility at Ansty is a specialist factory for an existing MDF profile line and new MDF profile line.
The business also operates sites at Bayton Road Industrial Estate in Coventry (specialist factory for first fix staircases, doors, stair components and linings), Ibstock Road, Coventry (specialist factory for I-joist line, floor kits, decking and metal web joists), and West Bromwich (specialist factory for first and second fix staircases).
Staircraft’s two dedicated stair factories deliver bespoke solutions for housebuilders of all sizes.
Staircraft Group recorded revenue of £64m in 2023, with an operating profit of £3.1m.
