As well as the drive-through, the new building will incorporate new offices for the company’s headquarters and improved storage space for timber, wood-based products and other building supplies in Stamco‘s range.

Moreover, the £1.3m development is situated in front of Stamco Timber’s exisiting site, meaning it is only a short forklift truck journey from the sawmill and production line to the shop floor for the company’s timber products, offering cost and operational benefits to both operations according to marketng manager Emma Pearce.

Ms Pearce aded that the drive-through facility had been “very well received” and that the first few days of opening had been “excellent”.
