A spokesperson has confirmed that the company hopes to complete a purchase within the next six months and that its timber frame factory in Witney would supply the acquisition’s timber frame requirements.
The Witney operation has built a £30m-plus turnover in just four years and is targeting £75m by 2010.
Bellway Homes recently placed a contract for 500 homes – thought to be the UK’s largest single timber frame order.
