Stora Enso Timber is donating €20,000 to support two small village schools in Estonia.

The company has entered into a partnership with the Estonian National Committee for UNICEF to help the schools based near its production sites.

The money will pay for a new basketball court at Lasila Compulsory School in Lääne-Viru county and furnishing a classroom at Paikuse Compulsory School in Pärnu county.

Stora, UNICEF’s global corporate partner in basic education, intends to contribute US$2.5m over a five-year period to help UNICEF achieve quality basic education for children everywhere.
