Accsys, the maker of Accoya modified wood, has reported a 4% growth in revenue to €60.4m for the five months ended August 31, 2025
The figures, in the company’s latest trading update, are even better when the US joint venture is included – a 22% growth to €71.6m – compared to the same period in 2024.
Sales volumes were 24,807m3 for the Group in the period (+3% YoY), and 6,569m3 for the joint venture. Total volumes – Group and JV – were up 28% to 31,376m3.
Accsys reported robust Accoya product demand against a backdrop of continuing challenging macroeconomic conditions. It is projecting a continuation of positive sales trajectory in FY25 with significant growth in volumes.
Regional growth included +12% in UK&I; 24% growth in Rest of Europe; 36% growth in Rest of World, and 25% growth for Accoya for Tricoya (modified wood elements used in panel products).
Accoya USA is seen at an inflection point – with 55% year-on-year growth in North America sales volumes, demonstrating positive momentum in the Accoya USA joint venture, driven by expanded distribution and accelerated sales following the start-up in 2024.
Distribution capabilities were further strengthened by the addition of three new North America distributors. This included Hardwoods Specialty Products US LP, GMX Group (a wholesale distributor with a focus on the retail customer), and Klinai, the first Mexican Accoya distributor, which has an established customer base in outdoor structural timber beams.
Strong customer demand is also reported for Accoya Color, the colour enhanced product, with an increase in production capacity in Barry, UK.
“We are very pleased to be reporting strong sales growth across all of our major markets despite continuing challenging macroeconomic conditions,” said Accsys CEO Dr Jelena Arsic van Os.
“The positive momentum across all regions is accelerating demand for our high-performance.”
