Students returned to the college this autumn to principally Wadkin manufactured machines, including an AGS sawbench, FSP220 4-side planer, BRA cross-cut, C700 bandsaw, BEL spindle moulder and PBR/HD band resaw. There were also some smaller machines by Sedgwick and RJH, plus a new Elcon 155D vertical panel saw.
The requirement was for state-of-the-art machinery to provide up-to-date facilities for the students and to match the standards and the environment created by the new building, a Daltons Wadkin spokesman said.
"We have long been associated with education supply at school, college and university levels, and we are delighted to have been chosen to equip this brand new college facility," said communications director Alex Dalton.
