Sydenhams Ltd has increased the amount of certified timber products sold through its 14 branches following joint Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC) certification of its Wickham and Timber Direct (Poole) operations.
The two sites, which supply timber products to the company’s branch network, achieved chain of custody certification following an audit by BM TRADA Certification Ltd.
Sydenhams’ hardwood operation at Maiden Bradley secured PEFC/FSC chain of custody in June.
