Geoff Taylor, formerly of Sikkens Joinery and current president of the Institute of Wood Science, has joined Timbmet in a newly created business development role.
Mr Taylor’s primary task will be to develop strategic partnerships within the manufacturing and contractor sector and highlight Timbmet as a solution provider as well as a supplier. He will work with customers to understand their long-term requirements and processes, ensuring Timbmet complements and adapts to them at every stage.
An acknowledged expert with over 30 years in the UK construction industry, Mr Taylor has worked with three of the world’s largest coating manufacturers: Akzo Nobel, ICI Paints and Sherwin Williams. His most recent position at Sikkens involved building business partnerships with some of Europe’s most progressive companies.
