The Timber Decking Association (TDA) forecasts demand for timber decking will grow by a further 10% this year, but warns there is no room for complacency in the supply chain.
TDA director of operations Steve Young said the use of wood outdoors is still a relatively new concept in the UK and that the popularity of timber decking could be affected if materials and the finished structure do not meet customers’ expectations.
