TECO, the testing and certification company for structural and non-structural wood panels, is providing testing, certification and auditing services for the three OSB plants Norbord purchased from International Paper in April 2002.
TECO has also won the contract to provide similar services to Weyerhaeuser‘s OSB plant in West Virginia, meaning it now certifies around 40% of the structural OSB panels produced in North America.
Weyerhaeuser has also awarded TECO the contract to service its five plywood plants in the southern US, purchased from Willamette last year.
