TFS has ISO 9001:2015 certification, together with Wood Protection Association (WPA) Benchmark and BBA product approvals and appointed Mr Watts to take primary responsibility for the ISO standards and to work on the restructure of the quality management systems to ensure they remain tailored to client requirements.

Mr Watts previously worked with TFS for 15 years and was appointed to the role due, in part, to his prior knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of the business and appreciation of TFS’ objective to continually improve service delivery and operations.

“After taking a break from the manufacturing industry for five years, I was delighted when the opportunity arose to re-join the TFS team at such an exciting development stage,” said Mr Watts. “At TFS, our staff stand by the saying ‘right first time’, meaning that nothing leaves our factory unless it’s of the highest standards for our clients. Having worked with TFS for a number of years previously, taking on the responsibility for maintaining our quality assurances is a great opportunity for personal development and keeping up standards on our reputation for quality products.”

Having successfully piloted TFS’ most recent BS EN ISO 9001:2015 quality assurance audit, Mr Watts and the management team at TFS rebuilt the system entirely and significantly improved the overall process.
